Chapter 69 – Dungeon Exploration by Jena and 3 Others (Party Name Undecided) – 1

Lee Spin narrowed his eyes while looking at the state-of-the-art liquid crystal display tactical desk and 3D hologram generator on the first floor.
These were all state-of-the-art equipment that could only be used during a large-scale strategy meeting in a mid-level guild. All four of us seemed to be unhappy that we had bought such high-end gear.

“Is this the end of the first floor? Then let’s go up to the second floor.”

“If I had known, I would have asked for a smaller kitchen and a larger room.”
He responded with a smile to Ispin’s favor. It was wider than the room I lived in before, so I felt it was enough for me who didn’t have a lot of luggage.
After looking around, I ordered food to be delivered and sat around the same table with Ispin and had a pleasant meal time.
It was different from the time when I was alone and lonely with convenience store lunch boxes. I felt like my heart melted in a comfortable atmosphere like a family.
She felt infinite gratitude to Ispin. She also felt a strong sense of fellowship with Jena and the others who spoke to me.
I don’t know what the girls I’ve just met will think of me, but at least I thought so.
From tomorrow, there was a talk about improving my skills and working as a hunter in earnest, and Ispin gently stroked my shoulder, telling me to cheer up.
Lastly, Yena and the others decided to send Ispin off after lightly sharing a drink. After locking the doors and windows firmly and covering the covers, a quiet silence descended on the office that had been lively until a moment ago.

They gathered in front of the office and made an appointment to take a taxi to the Hunter Association at once. After getting ready and fully armed, I waited until Jena and the others arrived.
When we exchanged greetings lightly and arrived at the Hunter Association, tingling eyes poured out. Yena, who was standing in front of her, looked at each and every one of the people who were casting her gaze toward us, and she turned her face away with an expression that looked like they were all chewing dirt.
“…Don’t mind.”
“Right. You can’t do anything over there anyway.”
Yena and Jiyun heard the encouragement and nodded. Trying to keep my composure, I sat around one of the many tables for four on the first floor of the Hunter Association.
“What are we going to do today?”
“Isn’t it okay to explore dungeons? Coincidentally, there are also results from yesterday’s simulation run.”
Harin seemed to be referring to what she demonstrated in front of Ispin.
“What are you going to do with monsters that are difficult to deal with in their current state?”
“Anyway, those kids have to go down to the second or third floor to come out. First, let’s check if we can safely break through the first floor.”
When Jiyoon asked her question while tilting her head, Harin said as if she wasn’t worried. She was curious, so she cautiously cut into the conversation.
“Are you all in a dungeon you’ve been to?”
“…Once. But when it was just the three of us, we couldn’t even get through the first floor because there weren’t enough dealers.”
Harin frowned slightly on her forehead, so she nodded her head, and she affirmed. This incident seemed to take on the character of some kind of revenge battle.

When Harin responded playfully, Yena crumpled her expression. Jiyoon giggled and then she turned her gaze to me.
“Yes. If we finish successfully, let’s decide when we have an after party.”
“Of course we will have the party at the office, right? It is expected!”
When Jiyoon showed her excitement, Yena calmed her down by stroking her hair.
“-That’s funny. She’s a fixed party with someone who isn’t from the academy.”
In the excitement, I felt the sudden rush of cold water. Looking in the direction from which the voice was heard, three sturdy men and a woman, tanned by the sun, were glaring at us.
“…You guys?”
As Jena stepped forward as her representative and glared at her, a large man who shaved her head neatly snorted at her and replied.
“Party. It’s Son of Beach. You. I heard that you are the chief jockey for this academy, is that true?”
“…By the way?”
“You seem to be still a bitch, so let me kindly inform you. Change to a hunter from the academy before deciding on a fixed party. No matter what anyone says, someone from the academy who has been thoroughly trained from combat to survival for three years is better.”

When Harin shot sharply with his characteristic pointy tone, the bald-headed man from the Sons of Beach made a displeased expression.

He talked like it was someone else’s party, but the young anger in his voice felt like he was forcing painful memories from the past.
“If you fight, you will be in danger of dying, but do you think the mindset is the same as those who came out of the academy after receiving education and those who became hunters to earn some money after living a peaceful life?”
The bald man gave me a look of hatred.
“There is a senior from the academy who died to save the guy who jumped out on his own to live on his own. Remember.”
