The Princess Who Can’t Be Hypnotized 87

Chapter 87 – Later

The 86-episode journey has come to an end.

When I first started writing the material, I thought it would be completed in about 40 episodes, but the story turned out to be much longer than I thought.

Anyway, I was able to come this far because of the readers. Thank you for consistently following the writings of the author, who had a poor serialization attitude.

At first, I thought of doing something like a Q&A to commemorate the completion, but it seemed like it would be a bit sad if there were no questions after doing something like that. So, I’d like to shed some light on the back story. Below are the trivial stories.

Initially, the plan for this novel was a cosmic horror novel. So, in short, because I wanted to write an obscene story about being ridiculed by an irresistible mercenary, it was 〈 Princess Who Can’t Be Hypnotized 〉.

So originally, a tentacle monster was going to appear instead of the male lead. One day, a mysterious tentacle monster that suddenly landed in the imperial palace, twisting people’s common sense and harassing Violetta… Was the main point of the novel.

As those of you who have read my novel up to this point will know, most of the episodes in this novel are from Violetta’s point of view. Originally, this novel was a novel with Violetta as the main character. If it had been, the ending would have been more miserable than the present one, and Violetta, who was forcibly injected with ‘happiness’, would have ended up falling into a tentacle monster’s spawning ground.

But when I thought about it, I realized that if I wrote it as it is, there would be very few people who would look at it. As you know, female lead is a non-mainstream genre among non-mainstream in Novelpia.

So, one thing I thought about was to replace the genre with TS stuff, and the other was to change it to male lead stuff.

As you can see the result. This is how the Hypnosis Princess, a novel in which a giant tentacle monster with hypnotic powers was transformed into a human and presented as the main character instead of Violetta, was born.

That is why detailed history such as the name or background of the ‘man’ is not described. Originally, the character was planned as something Cthulhu-like, so I didn’t set up trivial information and didn’t want to explain it. Even though he is the main character in the beginning, he is also a friend who is close to a stage set to bully Violetta.

It is also in line with the reason why men’s way of thinking is rarely described in detail. However, in the introductory part, it is necessary for the readers to have a clear understanding of who the main character is, so the male mindset is described in relatively detail. It’s a novel that’s close to a female lead only from Violetta’s point of view, but it needed to be introduced like that at the beginning of the novel to look like a male lead.

In addition, I had a lot of concerns about the story line.

The first thing I thought of was about three stories.

First, the hypnotic ending. In fact, the fact that Violetta is not hypnotized was purely her own illusion, and she was only being played with while being hypnotized… It was an ending that seemed to be able to make use of the feeling of playing with a person’s life like a toy, but I gave up because I thought it might feel a bit like a drift if I wrote this.

The second is an abandoned ending. It is an ending that is brutally abandoned by a man who literally got married, loved, lived happily, and enjoyed everything. In this ending, Violetta, who fell deeply in love with the man after all her training, could not accept her reality and was going to hang her on her own rope. However, the man left behind several measures he had prepared to prevent her from committing suicide before leaving, and Violetta’s suicide attempt failed because of that. She was about to end the story with a sigh as she sat there, staring into space with her unfocused eyes.

The third is the current ending. Out of all of them, it’s the closest to the happy ending. In fact, looking at it through the eyes of a third person, it’s just a tragedy itself, but anyway, all the characters are happy. It can be summed up as a bad ending with no unfortunate people.

It’s not that I didn’t like the devastating ending, but in fact, I’m obsessive about happy endings. It’s not a one-volume short story, but it follows a novel of nearly 100 episodes to the end, but you can’t help but fall in love with the characters, right? Even if it’s bloody waste, it’s good to be happy at the end. To do so, I had to sacrifice a lot of probability, but it is my role to make up for it. Looking back, there were a lot of regrets, but personally, it was a satisfying ending.

Anyway, the story ended like this.

I would like to say thank you for watching again and I will cut it short. Gun gun.
