Chapter 85: Thorn In His Side
“That’s enough!”
Elder Huo roared angrily and interrupted the two of them.
“It’s up to you.” He closed his eyes and sighed.
Huo Chuan was right. Those things were the truth.

After settling Elder Huo’s matter, Huo Chuan looked at Huo Qing coldly.
He felt embarrassed for his sister.

Huo Qing was afraid of Huo Chuan, so she turned around and grabbed Sun Lan’s hand. Her pleading eyes were fixed on her mother. “Mom…”

Sun Lan was afraid of her son. Besides, she had done a lot of wrong things, so it was too late for her to feel guilty. With Huo Chuan’s threat, Sun Lan did not dare to breathe loudly.
After warning them, Huo Chuan could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
“Huo Chuan.” Just as Huo Chuan was about to turn around and go back to his room, Elder Huo called out to him, “Don’t blame me for not reminding you. It doesn’t matter which woman you are close to, but that Bai Ting, you’d better not have any more connections with her.

Once he reached the study, Huo Chuan immediately called Li Yi and began to prepare the public relations document to be released the next day.
The next morning, Yun Qing drove to the Yun Corporation in a great mood.
Things were different now.
In the past, there were still people gossiping in the corporation, but now, no one dared to provoke her.
Yun Qing hummed a tune as she got out of her Bentley and walked towards the elevator.
Suddenly, a car with high-beams turned and sped towards Yun Qing.
The lights were so bright that Yun Qing’s eyes hurt. Before she could react, a tall figure pounced on her.
In the man’s arms, Yun Qing rolled two or three times and pressed the man under her.
Yun Qing was still in shock. When she calmed herself down, she realized that the man under her was Huo Chuan.
Huo Chuan was still hugging her. His arms were extremely warm.
His usually calm eyes had a rare trace of nervousness and panic in them. In his eyes, Yun Qing could even see her own reflection.
“Are you hurt?”
Huo Chuan asked in a low and hoarse voice.
Only then did Yun Qing snap back to her senses and put away the ripples in her heart. She struggled out of Huo Chuan’s embrace and stood up, saying, “No, thank you.”
Huo Chuan also got up and patted the dust off his suit. He looked in the direction of the car and frowned.
“Why are you here?” Yun Qing was a little puzzled — why did Huo Chuan come to the Yun Corporation so early in the morning?
Huo Chuan turned to Yun Qing and said, “I’m here to apologize to you.”
“I’m here to apologize to you on behalf of the Huo family. Also, I’ve asked someone to prepare an apology letter. It will be released soon.”
Yun Qing was stunned. The Huo family actually relented this time?
“It’s in the name of the Huo family corporation, not me.”
Huo Chuan added, trying to make Yun Qing feel at ease.
“I didn’t expect Elder Huo to be willing to apologize.” Yun Qing sneered. “Alright, I’m going to work. You should be going to work too, right? I won’t keep you company.”
With that, Yun Qing turned around and left.
“Yun Qing!”
Huo Chuan hurriedly called out to her.
Yun Qing stopped in her tracks, but did not turn back.
“There might be something wrong with the car that hit you just now. Be careful.”
Huo Chuan had witnessed the incident as soon as he got out of the car. He still had a lingering fear in his heart.
If he had not been there, Yun Qing would most likely have been hit by the car.
Yun Qing was shocked, but she only said, “Thank you for telling me this.”
