Chapter 198: He Still Cares
Just as Huo Chuan raised his gun and wanted to continue dealing with the pirates, he heard a click. The gun was out of bullets.
Huo Chuan and Yun Qing’s expressions froze.
“Are you out of bullets?” Yun Qing asked. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

“Yes.” Huo Chuan’s voice was trembling. “Yun Qing, listen to me. I’ll go out and deal with them later. You find an opportunity to hide behind the reef and run away into the forest.
“That way, it won’t be easy for them to catch you.”
Huo Chuan seemed to be giving his last words in earnest.
Yun Qing stared at him. She clearly hated Huo Chuan, but she did not want to leave him behind.
If he died because he saved her, then wouldn’t she owe him yet another debt?

Yun Qing and Huo Chuan looked up and saw dozens of helicopters flying toward them. They hovered in the sky and cast shadows.
The gunshots of the pirates stopped. They looked up and started panicking.
At that moment, they became the ones who felt threatened.
They turned their guns around and targeted the helicopters.
These helicopters were painted with military camouflage. They hung in the air and put down the stairs.
The helicopters were full of people. They came down from the helicopters and surrounded the pirates.
“Yun Qing!”
“Huo Chuan?”
Yun Zhe was wearing a black windbreaker. When he came down from the helicopter, he saw Yun Qing and Huo Chuan at first sight.
He had never thought that these two missing people would actually be together!

Huo Chuan had been dragging the blond man along to shield himself. When Yun Qing saw the blood on his body, she thought it was the blood of the blond man. She did not expect Huo Chuan himself to be injured.
He did not show any signs of being injured earlier.
“I’m fine. It’s just a small injury.” Huo Chuan squeezed out a smile.
He had already suffered such injuries when he was a soldier.
Captain Xu’s men apprehended the pirates and quickly sent people to guide Huo Chuan to the ship so that they could give him first aid.
In the reflection of the rippling sea surface, Huo Chuan’s face was pale and his brows were tightly furrowed.
The doctor that Captain Xu brought had already taken out the bullet from his abdomen and bandaged it for him. Huo Chuan’s life was not in danger.
Yun Qing passed by Huo Chuan’s room and could not help but peek inside.
The bandage around his waist was still being stained with fresh blood. Yun Qing looked at it and a complicated expression flashed across her eyes.
“You are Yun Qing, right?” Suddenly, Captain Xu’s voice sounded.
Yun Qing turned around and nodded at him. “Hello, Captain Xu.”
“I heard about you and Huo Chuan.” Captain Xu smiled. “Huo Chuan is used to being in the army. He doesn’t know how to express his feelings very often. He’s grown a mask over his face.”
Yun Qing did not know why Captain Xu would suddenly tell her this, so she did not know how to respond.
Seeing that she did not speak, Captain Xu continued, “He still cares about you a lot. His injury was not light, but in order to protect you, he has been holding on.”
Yun Qing’s body stiffened — when she saw that Huo Chuan was fine after his injury, she had taken his word for it, claiming that his injury was only a minor injury.
