Chapter 71: Did She Kill Someone?
The gun in Shen Chengjing’s hand fell to the ground. Her body stiffened as she looked at Shen Ziqian who was in the driver’s seat.
“Haha, she set herself up.” Shen Ziqian laughed wildly. She had gone to drink a few glasses of wine, but was already tipsy.
Just as she was about to go home, she did not expect Shen Chengjing to appear in front of her.

In the car, Shen Ziqian let out a scream. Before she could see the reflection in the car mirror, her forehead hit the steering wheel, and the glass shards pierced her arm. The pain made her sober up.
She struggled to sit up and climbed out of the car, enduring the pain. Just as she took a few steps, she saw the Mercedes-Benz explode with a bang. Flames soared into the sky.
Shen Ziqian was blown aside by the explosion. When she fell down, she clearly saw that it was a flashy Land Rover that had crashed into her car. A man walked out of it and ran towards Shen Chengjing. That figure was familiar, as if she had seen it somewhere before. Where was it? As she thought about it, she fell into a coma.
“Cheng, Cheng.” Moh Yanchen got out of the car and came in front of her in a panic. Shen Chengjing was so scared that she fell to the ground. Both of her hands were tightly hugging her knees. Her body was trembling nonstop. She was helpless and quiet.
“No… No…” Shen Chengjing pushed him away abruptly.
“Cheng, it’s me, Moh Yanchen.” Moh Yanchen reached out and hugged her tightly. He rested his chin on the top of her head and said softly, “It’s me. I’m sorry I’m late.”
His magnetic voice reached her. She lifted her head slowly. What was imprinted in her eyes was his familiar handsome face. Her hands were trembling as she gently held his face.
“Uncle, Uncle…” She was so scared that she buried herself in his embrace. Listening to his strong heartbeat, her body shuddered. “Uncle, I killed someone… I killed someone…”
She looked at her hands as if she could see them stained with blood.
“It’s okay, it’s okay. I’ll take care of everything.” He peered at her with heartache, then looked at the unconscious Shen Ziqian on the other side.
If he was even a moment late, perhaps something would have happened to her. Thinking of this, he hugged her even tighter.
By the time Wu Hao and Mo Wen had arrived, most of the people in the attackers’ team had been eliminated. Only one escaped, although with injuries.
“Uncle, I killed someone. I am a bad person, a bad person.” She suddenly pushed him away and stood up, wanting to escape.
Moh Yanchen’s eyes darkened slightly. He hugged her tightly from behind and carried her up. “Shen Chengjing, listen to me properly. He is not dead! Also, this is self-defense. It is not against the law.”
